Company History

Allemby Hunt was founded in 1999 by Hugo Hunt as a specialist Financial Markets search and selection consultancy. Since then it has gone through many changes but then as now, our aim is to provide a tailored, professional and consultative approach to the recruitment process.

Whilst our initial focus was on the Investment Management sector, this has broadened over the years to encompass the Corporate Governance world, Global Markets, Transactional Banking, Alternative Investments and Real Estate. We have recruited knowledgeable, credible consultants, backed up by a robust research process, to provide a first class service to our clients.

In 2007 Alastair Johnstone was appointed as CEO and instigated a change programme which has included a move into new offices, upgrades in systems and software and the continuing expansion of the company.

This has included the launch of our Middle East operations and the establishment of our new Scottish business based in Edinburgh to service our existing clients and broaden the company reach and expertise.

We feel we have the infrastructure and resources to provide our clients with a highly professional, targeted service utilising our considerable market knowledge and contacts to produce reliable, efficient and cost effective recruitment solutions.
