We are working closely with an FCA regulated loan provider who are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be reporting directly into the Chief Executive of the company and will be accountable for making sure the business has met its regulatory objectives. The key responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop compliance and risk strategies to ensure compliance with appropriate professional and legal requirements.
• Participate in the delivery and production of short term plans and medium term strategic business objectives.
• Assess and amass compliance checklists on a weekly and monthly basis. 
• Look into the ongoing risks to the business and ensuring they are reported accurately to senior board members and external stakeholders.
• Look into all instances of non-compliance and make sure appropriate action is taken within set time requirements.
• Teach the core values, policies and standards of the company to fellow team members.
• Develop strong internal work relationships and look after key external parties.
• Always look to build positive relationships with the FCA, FOS and several other industry bodies.
• Focus on putting compliance at the heart of the business by treating every customer fairly and effectively promoting compliance jurisdictions. 

Due to rapid changes in the industry and stable increases in our client's workforce, the business is seeking to strengthen their compliance sector with an accomplished Compliance Manager. If you wish to be considered for this role, you will need to have been previously employed within a similar for a retail/challenger bank or finance/consumer credit business. Having a certified compliance qualification is another requirement.

The successful candidate will be joining the business at a time of rapid growth and will be offered a highly competitive salary of up to £75,000 including benefits.
