Our long serving client, a global Asset Management organisation is currently seeking to hire an Investment Risk Manager. In the role, you be directly reporting to the Head of Strategic Risk and will be primarily focused on their Active Portfolios and Fixed Income Index. From the get go, you will offer investment risk management expertise and compelling analysis to your seniors on a global scale. This will involve excellent communicational and presentational skills. The ability to manage your time and collaborate with all team members is a must.

Working alongside the Partners of the Investment Group, you will actively define and develop and efficient risk-analysis infrastructure by collecting data from several fund units, including management fund units. Thereon in, you will write concise reports and provide relevant recommendations on the analysis.

It is essential that you are able to present clearly and offer an insightful analysis to senior leaders and portfolio partners in a professional manner. Also, you'll be directing colleagues on these projects and executing multifaceted business tasks. Keeping up date with financial markets and general investments will be critical to your success at the company. This will allow you to being an informed perspective to the role and offer unique risk management processes. As well as your main responsibilities, you will take part in specialist projects handed down to you from experienced Partners of the firm. 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Over 5 years' experience in a related role and be able to demonstrate both analytical and quantitative skills, including regression analysis.
• Solid foundation of investment knowledge as well as an understanding of market indices and different securities - derivatives and fixed equity.
• Ability to analyse the a wide range of investment risks and systematically form solutions to
• Ideally be a Finance, Statistics, Economics or Business Administration Graduate.
