Charities we support
Allemby Hunt is committed to supporting worthwhile causes and undertakes a consultation process each year with all members of staff to consider nominations for the company's charity of the year. Once the charity has been adopted by the company it then becomes our charity for the year and staff, clients and candidates are made aware of this and are encouraged to demonstrate their support through fundraising or donating their free time to help the charity in its objectives. Charities previously supported include;
Vitalise is a national charity providing short breaks (respite care) and other services for disabled people, visually impaired people, and carers.
Allemby Hunt Ltd is keen to support the military and work very hard to assist ex-military personnel into jobs in the city. As part of that commitment, we're delighted to support Combat Stress, the UK's leading Veterans' mental health charity. Mental ill-health is said to affect ex-Service men and women from all ages. Combat Stress helps to support almost 6,000 Veterans aged from 18 to 97. They act as a lifeline for these men, women and their families. Their vision is that Veterans will be able to live free from the damaging effects of psychological wounds.
Allemby Hunt are proud to be an ongoing supporter of Cazfest. Cazfest was established as a charity in 2009 in memory of Caroline (Caz) Johnstone who died suddenly, aged just 17 from an undiagnosed heart condition. The charity seeks to raise awareness of heart risk in your people and stresses the importance of heart screening. Each year the charity hosts a music festival which continues to grow year on year and attracts many thousands of people.
